Why doesn't my iCloud drive appear in the Finder drop down list?

icloud drive does not appear in the Finder drop down list

i have subscribed to icloud - yet in Finder the icloud drive does not appear in the drop down list of favorites devices the left hand side

so unable to create folders and in which to store my files

In Finder, go to the Preferences menu (on the menu bar, click Finder, then Preferences). Go to the Sidebar menu, and you can select iCloud Drive to show up in your Favorites list. If it's not an option, you can check your iCloud settings in System Preferences and make sure than iCloud Drive is turned on. Hope you figure it out!
