How do I make a local backup of my iCloud drive?

I want to back up my iCloud drive on a local drive (actually a NAS server). But it seems like the usual methods (Crashplan, Chronosync) won't let you do this - you can't actually select the drive for backup.

Has anyone had this problem and got a solution?

Sure. Just copy the contents of your iCloud Drive onto your local drive....

Thanks, but I am after a solution that can be scheduled to run an incremental backup each night, handle archives, etc.
