Prevent a single photo from streaming

I've set up icloud streaming of photos from my iPhone and iPad. is there any easy way to exclude (or prevent) a photo from streaming? I have photo streaming running as a slideshow on my AppleTv - sometimes I just don't want to automatically streaming.

Delete the picture from the photo stream.

You can hide pictures. Don't know what it means yet, but i suppose it prevents it from being uploaded

Get a photo album app to put photos like that in. MyPhoto is a good one. Or put it on an email and drop it in a folder.
