    Default iTunes match

    I setup iTunes match, and deleted library from my pc, forgetting about implication for old iPod classic! Can I create a smart playlist that will enable me to sync with classic, or do I have to download all music to pc again?

    iPod classic needs to have local media to sync, so yes, you will need to re-download the music you want to sync with the iPod classic.

    The plus side is now you have updated music from iTunes (if any of it wasn't bought from iTunes) but like the previous post said, you'll have to redownload then sync.
