Question How many of you use iCloud?

I'm curious as to how many iPhone users use iCloud. Whether it be only for Find My iPhone or whatever else. I'm debating on whether or not I actually need it or not

The nice thing is, you can use as little or as much of iCloud as you want.

I use it quite a bit. I beam my I work docs, I use to keep my mail, contacts, & calendars in sync. I use it for backups. Some 3rd party apps I have will allow me to keep everything on multiple devices in sync.

iCloud was a huge factor for me in deciding whether to switch to iPhone.

With all the Apple products I have, it's a no brainer.

I use it in its entirety. Works very well for keeping things in sync across my iPad iPhone and mac

I use it mainly for backup. TBH, when it 'first came out', I went on the record of saying it was a waste of time. I am now eating my words and find it very useful!

I don't have icloud set to back up everytime i'm on wifi, locked, blah blah blah. the ONLY thing i have turned on for it is my contacts, calendar and photostream. And at some point i will be ditching photostream.

i don't rely on the icloud--i back up to iTunes every Sunday

I use it all and love it. Earlier today, I deactivated my Google account so iCloud is now primary for me and everything syncs without a hitch.

Neither. I will be getting the iPad 3 next month, though. Do I really need iCloud if I still use iTunes?

You can do away with iTunes if you use iCloud and all that it provides. Unless you want podcasts, then you'd have to sync to iTunes for those.

Thanks, Jeremy. Is there a good guide anywhere that explains iCloud well? I think my issue is that I don't fully understand it's use well enough to take advantage of it. Also, from what I have read, others seem to have issues with storing their pictures in the cloud. Maybe Apple is working on this, though.

Not sure what issues you are referring to. I honestly have not had any problems occur. Maybe can help you better understand it.

Cool, thanks for the link. I think the main issue had to do with not being able to delete photos once they are stored in the cloud?

You can delete them once iOS 5.1 comes out
