So I tried to signup with Match in beta and itunes said I was not eligible because my library contained over 25000 songs. Will this be the case when Match is opened to the public as well?

Great... I currently have 41511 songs (291GBs) in my library

Get out your wallet lol. I don't know how the pay per thing works actually. I think that if you ripped the song yourself and iTunes Store has it, they just store the tags for your songs, not the file, and stream it from the Store. If they don't have the song they upload it from your library and store it. But I'm sure there's a limit on how many songs of yours they will store for you for nothing, even if it's just that tags. It just makes sense.

On the coming soon page it states there is a 25,000 song limit.

I guess I was aware of the 25k limit... but I'm hoping I get to have a say what 25k songs from my library I want matched. I have hundreds of live bootleg recording for instance that aren't in iTunes and I don't necessarily want uploaded to iTunes for matching purposes and counting against my 25k.
