Bringing Back iDisk, so to speak

So has anyone seen the post on 9to5mac about being able to sync macs using iCloud by simply putting files and folders into...

~/Library/Mobile Documents

I just set up my iMac and MBAir, created Aliases on the desktop with a nice iDisk icon. Looks to be working fine, although I dont get any nice notifications like I do with Dropbox.
