Mobile Me

I just got my iPhone today and found out that I can not sign up for mobile me account . Unless someone know a way. Ok if I can not use that what would be the best service to use? Until the icloud is ready to use. I have 3000 contacts plus my work calendar . Google is too slow with that many contacts . All help would be appreciated . I should said I have a ipad2 also .

Well, until iCloud gets going for everyone, the alternative is Google, which you already know about, or regular syncing via a computer with iTunes.

Google is the way to go. But, what do you mean it's slow? Once the contacts are on your phone, there is nothing to worry about...

I believe apple has halted any creation of mobile me service. I logged on to create an alias last night and was greeted with a message stating alias's could not be created any longer in mobile me and will not be available until making the transition to iCloud in the fall.

Mine seems to be behaving a little funky lately, but Ive been blaming the OS5 beta. Looks like I have a little tinkering to do.

...well, I'm not even on iOS 5, and Mobile ME has been slow. Rather worrying really. You know what they say, "something that is free, is not always worth it..."
