Within iCloud settings there is the option to keep app data for individual apps, even if they have been removed from the device so, based on the fact that the app in question was still listed in the settings after removal I just assumed that app data would be restored from iCloud after downloading the app again.
So do you think the purpose of listing individual apps is solely for when you do a full device restore and you just want to specify any apps that you no longer want to appear?
rafsterman | So far it seems that way. If you restore, you'd get the app and data back, but if you delete the app and reinstall, so there is no data, it seems to overwrite the old data, with the new empty app details.
