Most cellular contracts have a monthly allowance for data and if you exceed it you risk racking up overage charges. Some cellular plans will notify you by email or text when you reach 50, 75 or 90 percent of your data allowance. You can also go into your device to see which apps might be eating your data.
Here's how you check:
Go into Settings > Cellular and scroll down to see which apps are using data. If there's anything unnecessary listed just toggle it off.
If you want you can reset the cellular data usage each month on your device, or use it to keep an eye on how much you've used.
