My equipment - iPad 4.3.1 stock, iPhone 4 4.2.1 jailbroken.
On Both machines, when reading my email (using Gmail Exchange), after reading emails for say a minute or two, the screen flashes, goes blank, the comes back on with the "no message selected" screen. If I select the back arrow to go into the folder view, I can see the messages, and it says downloading....but I cannot open any message for a few minutes.
What I do is go to Safari, access gmail from there, and after I've read a message or two I go back to mail and it'll work again for a few minutes then same thing.
I disabled threading, and that pretty much cured the iPhone 4, but has not helped on the iPad. It's been this way since iOS 4 on the iPad in every version.
Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?
