How can I prevent an exchange gmail account from CC'ing myself all the time? My phone is not set to CC myself. My mobileme account works great, but every time I send an email from gmail, I always get a copy of it on my iMac. Is this a "feature"?

I'll have to check when I get home. I think it might be set up as pop...

EDIT: It's set up as pop when it synced from iTunes. Can Mail handle gmail IMAP?

Why use IMAP or POP when Gmail gives you MS Exchange support for free?

Google, Google Sync for iPhone.

Tried to set this up as imap from RealVNC on my phone. I know gmail has a help page for imap with Apple Mail 4, but I'm running 3.6 on 10.5.8. Do I really need to put snow leopard on my iMac? Can I edit my existing pop connection to a imap? So far haven't been able to make it work.

Got it fixed finally. I had to create a new account in Mail and set it up as imap. It wouldn't let me edit my existing pop entry for gmail. Thanks!
