Use Gmail with Exchange or not?

Hi guys. I was just wondering what you all think is better: using Gmail before Google let us use Exchange, or using Exchange. I'm using normal Gmail on my iPhone, but wasn't sure if I should go to the Exchange side. What do you guys think?

That's the only reason I started using gmail through exchange. As a former BB user I missed push email.

the gmail push sucks right now. at least for me it does. sooooooooooo slow and laggy. i get emails so late.

Gmail push sucks.I need to check my emails in every one hour.And Gmail always keeps me waiting for at least 1-2 minutes.So I have decided to go for Gmail through exchange.

Use exchange! I set mine up to sync Mail, Contacts, and Calendars. Mail is pushed to my phone immediately! Contacts and Calendars remain updated and in sync no matter where I edit them! Amazing! I'm also using Google Apps for Domain through my school's custom address and it works perfectly!

Got a new MacBook Pro and updated my phone to 3.1 with a jailbreak. Normally, I would've had to redo all my contacts and calendar functions. With Google sync, I just had to set my account up through Exchange and it was all taken care of.

It's a beautiful thing.

I was intrigued by it but my work email is Exchange and I'm always checking my GMail at my laptop or just opening the phone anyway. The service sounds really good though.
