Why am I unable to create an Apple ID?

troubles creating an ID Apple

Hi there!

I'm trying to create a new ID Apple, since I'll get my first iPhone tomorrow.
But when I fill the fields with e-mail and so, it says something as "this email address is not available for use as an apple id".

I'm trying to use a msn e-mail, since it's my main e-mail.

Can't use msn/Microsoft accounts to create an ID Apple?

I would think you can. Maybe should check with Microsoft.
