I'm not sure if it's possible and even if it was possible, video(s) would take up a lot of space on your device. I mark any videos that I want to find quickly as favorites and find them that way. Good luck

There are plenty websites and software available on internet for extracting videos from YouTube.

After you have saved a video on your computer, you can sync it to your iPad with iTunes.

I can't answer the android part because I'm not familiar with any.
