Apple Store employee

Hello!

I just have to point how disappointed I was in an Apple Store employee over the weekend.

I was with my wife, mother-in-law and son at the story in Indy when the wife asked what a Fusion hard drive was....and why it cost so much more.

As I was getting ready to explain, an employee chimed in and said he wasn't sure. "I think it's the kind that doesn't have the spinning part. You can use the computer (that we were looking at) to Google it if you'd like."

I explained to him what in fact if was...but it was just kind of awkward. Maybe better training?

My guess is that it wasn't a Genius (no pun intended) that you were talking to. Either way, the employee shouldn't have guessed and then deferred the matter to Google.
