I need to reset my AppleID password and nothing seems to be working

Tried repeatedly to reset my password. I've received verification codes twice, but when entered they do not work. Why is resetting a password such an incredible hassle? Please help!

Using any smartphone is a balance of security and convenience. Sometimes what's inconvenient ensures security. For me, it's an acceptable tradeoff.
