Sending emails after changing email password, why do I get error messages?

sending emails after changing email password

the problem I am having is just with my phone I am not having any issues sending emails from my computer. I changed my comcast email password yesterday and although I can receive comcast emails on my phone it will not allow me to send any emails from my phone. I get an error message that indicates wither my user name or password is not correct. I changed the password to my new comcast passowrd but still no luck.

Delete the account from your iPhone and then re-configure the account on the iPhone with the username and new passcode.

You may just need to enter the new password in Settings > Mail, Contacts and Calendar > email account
