Retrieving pictures from "archives" in mailboxes

I mistakenly put sent photos to me in archives. How do I retrieve them?

Welcome to iMore!

When you open the default Mail app, tap on Edit up top. Look down the list for Archive and enable it. You should be able to view your email from there and snag your images.

If you have no archive folder and your mail is set to archive instead of trash, check "All Mail" for your emails.
