How to change the Apple ID of iPad for new user.

My old iPad runs with my personal Apple ID . Now that l bought myself a new one , which runs also under the same Apple ID , I want to give the old one my son, but use it under his own Apple ID . How can it be done? Without of course put my Apple ID in any risk. I mean the one I have for my new iPad .

Just restore it as a new device and then configure your son's Apple ID on it. You can also enable Family Sharing to let your son use your purchased apps.

You may also have to disable Find My Ipad as well. That is if you have that enabled.
