AppleCare vs ATT insurance

I apologize if this has been answered before but I can't figure out how to search thread content. I just bought a new 6s and am curious about personal experience with AppleCare vs ATT insurance.

usually carrier insurance carriers higher premiums but covers lost/stolen phones which applecare plus does not- So if you are concerned about lost or stolen go carrier insurance- If you are not and have an apple store within reasonable driving distance- go apple care
