I'm not getting my text messages. Is this a setting problem?

Reboot your device and then have a friend send you a text message. If you're referring to iMessages, then make sure that you are signed into iMessage via the settings.

Ok, I know the power button is the one at the bottom of the phone. Where is the Home button? Thanks

The Home button is the big round bottom on the front bottom area of the phone. The Power button, on the 4s, is on top of the phone.
