Recently updated apps have a blue dot next to them. Is the dot next to an App's name? Check the App Store to see what updates have recently installed.

I've never seen anything like that. I only know of the blue dots on the app icons. This is interesting May e someone else can provide additional assistance. I'd love to see a screenshot.

Blue dot or blue circle? If it's the latter, it means that you are on a really slow cellular network (gprs).

What is the search bar on your screen? Are you on an app?
Can you show the entire screen?

Do you see the blue dot wherever you go on your phone? Or just in Safari?
And you still don't show your whole screen. Let's see your whole screen.

I think that's the magnifying glass. Go to settings, general, accessibility, magnifying glass (or whatever it's called) and turn it off

YES that sound right. There is a tiny blue dot everywhere I go and it's easiest to see when the the screen is black. Not off, but black. Do u know what causes a dead pixel and what to do to fix it?
