how do you do the cartoon character with your text messages?

I would like to send a cartoon character with my text messages...symbolizing me as the picture...how do you set that up?

Use the default emoji option on the keyboard or install a 3rd-party emoji app.

If the emoji keyboard is not on your phone, go to Settings >General >Keyboard> Keyboards > add new keyboards > scroll down to emoji keyboard and add.
