In my health app under sources I do not see any apps, how can I link them?

in my health app under sources I do not see any apps.

I know I have some apps already on my phone that work with the health app. How do I link the 2? also when I click on the device under sources and click on the apple watch I get a message that says " Go to the Apple Watch app to change the health data settings for this apple watch". when I go to settings for the health app I do not see any place to change this

Apps that request access to your health data should appear therein when you go to Settings→ Privacy→ Health.

The only thing you can edit via the Watch's health setting is your date of birth, sex, height and weight.
