Purchased a Pryme Vessyl, how can I get the blue insert out?

Purchased a Pryme Vessyl

And I want to love it but for the life of me I cannot get the blue insert out. And now I found out from poking about online that is where the actual directions are. If someone knows how to go about getting the blue insert out, please give me a shout. If it is going to be this much trouble every single time I may just take it back.
