Why isn't my predictive text showing up?

when spelling words while messaging perdictive words are not showing up below

First, make sure Predictive Text is on:

Settings -> General -> Keyboards

You can also long-press the emoji or world button near the space bar on the keyboard.

If it's enabled and still not showing up, you need to tap and swipe up on the thin bar just above the keyboard to bring it back.
