my iphone 5 will only charge from laptop

i cant charge from the wall/car charger etc. doesnt work. can only charge from my laptop

Welcome to iMore. Have you tried the cable that is working with your laptop in your car or with the wall charger? Just a suggestion to try.

Is the power on in your home? Is there a switch on the wall that powers the socket that you're trying to get power from? Have you tried different wall sockets?
