Should i keep the phone on charge as much as possable or let it drain down between charges

It's best not to completely drain your phone battery, and you don't need to keep it plugged in all the time, but otherwise do whatever is convenient to keep it charged for when you need it.

Welcome to iMore! As @BB-JAM215 indicated, charge it however it's more convenient for you. Modern lithium batteries aren't subject to the battery memory issues of older generations of batteries.
