Why can't I download apps over 100mb with wifi?

Cand download app over 100mb with wifi

Im trying to download an app thats 200+ mb and im connected to my home wifi but it still wont start downloading it. wifi is turned on and everything but the download gague is not moving and the icon that apeared on my desktop just says waiting...
what can i do?

Welcome to iMore! Try cycling airplane mode. If that doesn't work reset your device by holding the power button and home button down simultaneously until you see the Apple boot logo. Hopefully one of those works, if not let us know.
