many things can cause this- how old is the phone? is this an iPhone 6 or 6s? Is it older? The battery only lasts so long... You could also be in an area that reception isn't great- the more the phone has to search for a signal the quicker the battery dies. What apps are you running- maybe you have installed a battery hog app- go into settings then battery and see whats been using the most
