Will GE's ConnectPlus have MFi certification?

The GE ConnectPlus is a small device with a RJ45 plug that goes into the GE Geospring hot water heater in order to operate it from GE's third party app on an iPhone. I doubt the ConnectPlus device is upgradable so I doubt it is MFi certified. Thanks.

Welcome to iMore! Unless GE integrates HomeKit capabilities into the device I don't think it would qualify for MFi certification. I could be wrong but I believe that is the case.
