To change my email address on Group Me it says to tap the Avator.

Welcome to iMore! I'm not sure what Group Me is but an avatar is the picture that usually appears next to your Username on an app or web site. For example, my iMore avatar is the blue and green Ambassador badge that you see below "DevilishBanker" on this thread.
