How can I keep my texts and outgoing phone calls private?

For example, I don't want a record of calls and texts I am making.

There will always be a record kept somewhere for a period of time. You can, however, delete the call history after making and receiving calls as well as delete your text messages when the conversations are finished.

The iPhone doesn't have a private feature like other platforms do, so right now all you can do is like just_me_d said, delete the call logs and text
