How can I get the volume to increase?

Volume will not increase

I changed the volume setting and opened up as far as I could and then even tried to increase the volume on the devise and it still plays really soft. Is there any way to increase this or is it shot?

Check to make sure you don't have the mute switch on the side of the device on and swipe up for control center and make sure the volume slider is all the way to the right

If all is well go into Settings>Sounds and make sure change with buttons is not enabled and use the side rocker buttons to increase the volume
