Forgot Code/ Never synced / Not recognized. HELP !

Hey guys,

I lost my new phone so i wanted to use my old iphone again. The problem is that i forgot my (un-)lock code and that i have a new laptop so i never synced it.
If i try to connect my iphone to my pc it only shows :
device not recognized. (in dfu and in normal mode)
I already reinstalled itunes and even used some older itunes version.
I also tried to install the driver manually. Didn't work either.
So now i reached the end of my "skills" and I need your help.

If it's the 4 digit passcode, you have 10,000 guesses.
Exactly what happened when you put it in DFU mode?
