profile pic will not update on messenger even though I changed it on FB profile

Why would my picture not update on my Messenger thumbnail even though it has changed on my FB page.? It's like they aren't syncing.?

I don't know. There could be problems on Facebook's end or there could be a delayed sync. Either way, give it time.
