Buying a new Ipad mini2 and make sure it transfers only his account to his new Ipadmini

My son has just bought a new Ipad mini and wants to be able to transfer his game and not his brother's to his new device. We all use the same Apple ID and when he transferred the game it came up with his brother's version. What is the best way to run many different devices in the household so that they are not all hooked up?
