Did Apple fix the third party keyboard bugs?

I haven't been able to find an answer to this so I'm hoping the iMore community can clarify.

One of the things that have been driving me crazy has been iOS 8's inability to handle third party keyboards correctly. Namely, when you switch to a third party keyboard, not matter what one does, it reverts back to the default iOS keyboard.

Does anyone know if this has been corrected in the iOS 9 betas?

I'm not be who uses 3rd-party keyboards, but hopefully those who do will respond to your inquiry soon...:)

It's better on the iOS 9 beta, but no, not completely solved yet. Even iOS 9 beta is going to receive an update in a few days and we'll know more then.

I use third party keyboards on iOS9 and I still find myself going back to the stock one. Not that they don't work, but I lose functionality, voice dictation, so it becomes less important to me to skin.

Swype is dead on the most recent beta of 9.

If you remove the English keyboard as an option then only leave emote and the third party keyboard, it'll help with that issue.

As for passwords, that'll still always be the stock keyboard.
