Trying to use the internet but keeps bringing up prior text messages

Hello, I want to apologize up front as I am not very tech savy at all but can usually try and muddle through, but am now at a loss. I have an Iphone and have just recently started having this problem. Everytime I open up my web browser and start trying in a the where I want to go, it brings up every prior text message that I have ever sent that contains the word I just typed and then I am forced to go through every text message it brings up. I am not sure if I hit some setting incorrectly on accident or if this is some new feature that I just dont know how to use. I just want to be able to use the internet like normal. Please help

Are you using Safari? Is your device jailbroken?
