Why do incoming calls come up UNKNOWN even though they are in my contacts list?

ncoming calls come up UNKNOWN even though they are in my contacts list

everytime i get an incoming call it comes up UNKNOWN , but most of the callers are in my contact list, why does this happen ?

Are your contacts blocking their numbers from being displayed in their caller ID settings? If they block their numbers from being shown, there is nothing you can do.
