    Default Failure to playText Tone

    I bought a special tone for my incoming text messaging and have used it successfully for the last few month. For whatever reason, it has stopped working and I only get a
    "ding" sound for an incoming text. I have checked everything I can think of and what other people have suggested. The text tone shows up in settings, but will not play when receiving a text. Can you help? Please

    Is it in your purchased list? Maybe it got deleted and needs downloading again. Try a hard reset. Maybe someone else can help more.

    It did got deleted bu my husband who was trying to help me originally. Thank you for your response. I very much appreciate it
