How can i remove photos from iCloud.com?

Removing photos from iCloud.com

I can't delete my photos from iCloud.com. The trash icon is disabled otherwise it would have been super easy. How to remove since my storage is full and the icon for trash is disabled. i can only email or copy to my mac which i do not want to do.

On the upper right go to "Select Photos" and from there you can start selecting photos to be deleted and the trash icon will be usable.
