what's the difference between iCloud Photo Library backup and the original iCloud back up

why I need iCloud Photo Library back up if the original iCloud back up already done eveything

can I turn off iCloud Photo Library back up and ONLY use the original iCloud backup like I did in the past 4 years

I read it still don't really get it

in the past 4 years I have been using the original iCloud back up everything and it is fine

why they make a separate iCloud phone library back up suddenly , it used up more memory space then only the original iCloud back up does

what is this all about

can I only use the original iCloud back up and still back up eveything including my photos and videos like it does for the past 4 years
