Your Opinion On Apple Selling Automated Home Devices?

On Apple's website store there a a great number of home automated products and while there are some good products, What is your opinion of Apple branching into their own market with all the in house talent and engineers they have?

I think the home automation technology is really cool, but I'm not ready to buy any yet. I haven't seen anything yet that has convinced me it's worth it. The closest has been the Bluetooth enabled door locks so that id never have to fish my keys out of my purse, but I'm still not ready to pull the trigger on that.

I agree Karen and NEST came from an ex- Apple employee. I do like the door locks but as you said, Not ready yet. Heck I just bought a new 2014 Honda that has more tech in it and is fully IOS Interfaced along with SIRI Eyes and Honda Link they call it and you can do anything you want with it with it Bluetooth connected up with the car.
