You know, if only one day I can transfer pretty much anything to iCloud, I would be using it more. But it's been only selective in the things you can put on there...

Honestly, icloud dosent seem like a real cloud storage solution. It's just for back up of iOS devices.

Being a storage space fanatic, and not being able to function if my device space runs low. I use Box Dropbox iCloud and Skydrive.
I even store info in emails making sure to properly describe what it is in the subject line.

Strictly BOX. Safe, secure, can put docs offline and read in airplane mode anywhere. Can login to work account. It's a life saver for me working in Philly with my company across the country

I use several so as not to have all my eggs in one basket and to get additional storage by having multiple options.

Amazon - Cloud Music storage, premium service.
OneDrive - Personal files.
Google Drive - Personal Photos; my devices send photos here automatically.

Apple needs to provide more than 5GB if iCloud is to be taken seriously.

I use Dropbox and MEGA the most. Box, Onedrive and Google Drive now and then cause they are mostly associated with their products.

Only thing that bugs me about drive is that the photos aren't automatically stored in the drive app , but rather in google+.

True, but no one uses Google+ so no one will ever see them. It's only for backup anyway. I still regularly download and organize them on my PC the old fashioned way.

I love using Google Drive. And I don't know if you experience this or use Google+.
I thought of giving Google+ a try, and it says it can upload all your photos from Drive.
Yet, when it uploads the photos from Drive.
It does not upload everything. For example, I have an album with 146 photos.
It only uploads 60, thus me deleting my Google + profile, and not using it.

Agreed, your photos and profile are only viewable if you choose that path.
I downloaded Google Drive for the PC.
And it syncs everything without a hitch. Like I said, I love Google Drive.
It stores everything without the need of using several different cloud storage.

I have
Box (50 GB free x2)
Skydive/onedrive (25 GB free from 2007)
Google Drive (15 GB free)
Dropbox (2 GB free)
iCloud (5 GB free x2)
I'm thinking of signin up for mega as well soon.
I like to have multiple options :)

Which files do you keep in what service, though. I'd think having that many options would get confusing.

So right I got icloud, onedrive, Dropbox, box, and google drive going. I do want to trim this list down though since I'd think it would be too confusing keeping up with what I have in each of these services. I'm mainly looking for a good place(s) to back up and access my photos, pictures, and any documents I might have.

Dropbox I have 6gbs, one drive I have 110gbs until march next year die to a bing rewards thing, box I have 50gbs due to that promotion, and google drive I have the regular 15gb.

So I'm unsure which combination of services is best.

I mainly use Google Drive and just got more storage for Dropbox.

On a somewhat related topic, has anyone here stopped using the external hard drives and moved all their files to the cloud? I was going back and forth with the idea.

Google Drive is my primary storage for everything.
Although, I do use a Cruz Fit USB for a back up to my files.
