Yep, I wasn't too thrilled with Justin Timberlake and a few other offerings. They should give us a diverse choice.

I don't really need any apps. And I don't want books, unless they're by authors I like. Mostly I'd like to see music. Even oldie goldie stuff. Motown sound from the '60's and classic rock from the '70's. The Supremes and Pink Floyd. LOL

i LOVE Pink Floyd, as well as some oldies, 60/70's up through to today's music. I just don't do country, or much rap. But I have a very open palette for music.

I also don't need any apps, and if I want a book I go to the library and take it out.

As for the 12 Days app, I just re-downloaded it, and upon opening, it shows that it'll start on Dec 26th....so I wonder if that's implying for this year....?

I live about halfway between Birmingham, AL and Nashville, TN. Pink Floyd played both Cities on their Pulse tour. I went to both. LOL.

Holy blast from the past. David Coverdale was married to Tawny Kitaen, who is the girl in the vid.

Also I saw DefLep in concert...for the life of me I can't remember what friggin year it was....92? LOL I went with my husband and we were about 100 feet from th stage where Joe Elliot and the band were performing. It was an awesome show!! It was the adrenalize tour if my memory is still right

Yeah, they should offer music like that and other oldies to choose from. I was in my 30's when those were big. It's hard for me to find new music I really like a lot.

There's no way to know at this point if St. Cookalaus will use the 12 Days app used last year. He may do something completely different. The app takes 67 mb of space, so I'll keep it tucked away in my purchased list. There's nothing in the app to indicate it's use for this year.

T'was Two Weeks Before Christmas

T'was two weeks before Christmas,
when all through forum apps,
not a creature was stirring,
not even the old Chaps.
The "12 Days" apps were reinstalled with care,
in hopes that St. Cookolas soon would be there.
iPhone users were nestled all snug in their beds,
while visions of games and music danced in their heads.
My Wife in her nightie, and I in my sleep pants,
had just settled down for a long winter's dance.
When over on my iPhone there arose such a clatter,
I sprang to my lock screen to see what was the matter.
Away to the passcode I flew in a hurry.
Tapped in the numbers in such a flurry.
The apps on my home screen over new wallpaper,
gave lustre to my screen I'd need to check later.
When what to my wondering eyes did appear,
But a little old app that wasn't quite clear.
I wiped my eyes for a better look.
I knew in a moment it must be St. Cook.
But I knew in a wink it could not be so,
No word yet from Apple with all their dough.
So I sit and stare at my "12 Days" app.
This daydream had come in a midday nap.
Perhaps St. Cookolas will come to enthrall.
But for now Merry Christmas to each and to all!
