I didn't see any other discussion about this here, but I was reading around the web a bit about it and I'm guessing this might affect a few people here...Apple will stop support for some of their older "vintage" devices, including the original iPhone and many of the iMac's and Macbook's. Here's a link that gives details about it...

What this essentially means is, after June 11th, 2013...if your device is on that list, you will no longer be able to receive service at Apple retail stores, and parts/service will only be provided from Apple to residents of California.
