Game Center Log In Issue

Hey all, I have problem setting up/logging in to Game Center using my Apple ID. It seems I am stuck in a constant loop. I get as far as my birthday info and the system kicks me back out. I'm running iOS 5.1 and I am Jail broken on a 4. I've tried both stock and jail broken to no avail, so I've concluded that my jail broken status is not the direct cause. I'm not running any cracked/pirated apps either. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I resolved this, although I don't quite remember how. I've since moved on to 5 and everything went smoothly.
