Apps aren't there to be used on a daily basis. I download apps and use them rarely, but I need them on my phone anyway, for when I have to use them.
Like those public transport apps. I have 4 of them and even 5 if you count Google Maps as well (Dutch public transport is included in it too since recently).
There are cases that one app is just not clear enough about a line to take, so I need the other app to make sure I'm on the right train or track at the station. Some apps aren't up-to-date with delays on the service, so I check that in an other app.
